Overview


TheCenter for Financial Industry Information Systems (FISC)is a non-profit organization established in 1984 under the approval of Minister of Finance, Japan. In April 2011, FISC was approved by the Prime Minister to change its classification to become a public interest incorporated foundation.

In December 1985, in collaboration with its member institutions, theFinancial Services Agency (FSA)and the Bank of Japan, FISC has established "FISC Security Guidelines on Computer Systems for Banking and Related Financial Institutions" in order to promote security measures for financial institutions.
