The technical details
We host your sites on a custom auto scaling cluster and database servers, deployed through AWS. These are specifically built for replication, elastic load balancing, and redundancy. Users can also be served in fully dedicated private cloud clusters for an additional cost.
Each site gets its own dedicated CPU and memory resources and makes use of incremental backups (for faster restores), staging environments, and optional SFTP and SSH developer access.
All text content is cached automatically so sites speeds stay fast. We handle billions of page views every year, so we can confidently promise your sites can handle even the largest of traffic spikes.
Your data is fully protected
Each customer can choose to be fully hosted in Australia, Canada, Germany, India, Japan, the Netherlands, UK, USA, South Korea or France, where your data will not leave your specified country. We will remotely manage the servers and applications in these data centers.
All data centers include the highest levels of 24/7/365 on-site security, regulated climate control, redundant power, and industry-leading network infrastructure.
We provide daily and hourly offsite backups with 720 possible restore points, stored in Amazon S3 for 7-30 days, and scanned for any malicious files. Your team can also use our Snapshot technology to generate and sync your own backups. Full backup recovery should take no more than 24 hours.
