Beta Testing

Beta updates should not be enabled on production sites with live traffic.

GeneratePress (theme)

When we release a beta version of the theme, you’ll need to manually install the new version on top of your existing version.

If you’re installing the theme on a fresh WordPress install, you can just download the.zip file insideyour account,and go toAppearance > Themes > Upload Themein your WordPress Dashboard to upload it.

GP Premium

There’stwo ways to install beta versions of GP Premium. You can follow the same process as the theme above, except you would need to go toPlugins > Add New > Upload.

Alternative, you can opt in to receive beta updates inAppearance > GeneratePresswhich will serve beta updates directly to your Dashboard as a regular plugin bug.
