Alison Sealy-Smith(born 1959)[1]is a Barbadian-born, Canadian actress who is best known for her role asStormin various Marvel animated TV series.

editSmith was born inBridgetown,Barbadosand raised inToronto.[2]She attendedMount Allison UniversityinNew Brunswick,Canada, where she studied psychology on a scholarship.[3]

Her film and television credits have included the seriesStreet Legal,This is WonderlandandThe Line,and a recurring role inKevin Hill.She also had a small role in the 1998 filmMy Date with the President's Daughter.

Smith won a Dora Mavor Moore Award in 1997 for Best Female Performance for her role inHarlem Duet.[4]She also won a Dora Mavor Moore Award in 2009 for Outstanding Performance By A Female In A Principal Role with her role as Lena inA Raisin In The Sun.[5]
