Faramarz(Persian:فرامرز)[1]is an Iranian legendary hero (pahlavan) inFerdowsi'sShahnameh( "Book of Kings" ). He was son ofRostamand at last killed byKay Bahman.
The bookFaramarz-nama,written about a hundred years after Shahnameh, is about Faramarz and his wars. Also he is mentioned in other ancient books likeBorzu Nama.[2]
