He is the younger brother of two footballers,MullerandMaicon.[1]
Career
editIn 2013, after being named to the first team ofSport Club Internacional,Maurides played againstAmérica Mineiroin theCopa do Brasil.In the 88th minute of the game, Maurides celebrated a goal trying a backflip and sustained an injury to his right knee that kept him sidelined for 13 months.[2]
After several spells in Brazil and Portugal, on 12 July 2018, Maurides signed with Bulgarian clubCSKA Sofiafor an undisclosed fee.[3]
In February 2019, he signed a two-year contract withChangchun Yatai.[4]
Maurides joinedKorean second tiersideFC Anyangas afree agentin February 2020, afterChina League Onewas postponed indefinitely.[5]
In December 2022, it was announced Maurides would join2. BundesligaclubFC St. Paulifor the second half of the2022–23 season.[6]
