Ugo Pirro(April 20, 1920 – January 18, 2008) was an Italianscreenwriterand novelist.[1][2][3]

Pirro was also a literature author, his most notable works beingThe Camp Followers(1956), set in the Italian occupation ofGreeceduring World War II, andCelluloide,adapted for cinema by Lizzani in 1996.[4]

Pirro died inRomein 2008.[1]
