Ogirialso called Ogiri Ijebu is a flavoring made offermentedoil seeds,such assesame seedsoregusi seeds.[1]The process and product are similar toiruordouchi.Its smell is similar tocheese,miso,orstinky tofu.

Ogiri is best known inWest Africa.It is popular among the Yoruba people. Ogiri among the Igbo people of Nigeria is different and similar toIru Pete.Ogiri was discovered by Yoruba people.

Ogiri made in the traditional West African way contains: Egusi seeds, sesame seeds, salt, and water[2]
