1977 Manitoba general election

The1977 Manitoba general electionwas held on October 11, 1977, to elect Members of theLegislative Assemblyof the Province ofManitoba,Canada. It was won by theProgressive Conservative Party,which took 33 seats out of 57. The governingNew Democratic Partyfell to 23 seats, while theLiberal Partywon only one seat.

On March 3, 1981, Green, Hanuschak and Boyce announced their membership in the newProgressive Party of Manitoba.
