51 Minds Entertainment(orFifty One Minds Entertainment) is a production company specializing in reality TV, known for their "celebreality" programs onVH1.[2][3]It was created in 2004 as a merger betweenCris Abrego's51 Pictures(formerlyBrass Ring Entertainment) andMark Cronin'sMindless Entertainment.In 2005, the company signed a two-year, seven series production deal withVH1.[4]The company has been credited in helping revive VH1 ratings during this time.[5]In 2008, the company was purchased byEndemol(laterEndemol Shine Group,nowBanijay Entertainment).[1]
