Club career
editEarly career
editBorn inCociuba Mare,Bihor County,Șut played youth football for local side Izvorul,Liberty Salonta,andASA Târgu Mureș.He registered his professional debut for the latter on 2 May 2016, aged 18, in a 1–6 awayLiga Iloss toViitorul Constanța.[1]
Șut went on to representUnirea Jucu,Pandurii Târgu Jiu,andAcademica Clinceniin thelower leagues,[2]before returning to the top flight by signing forFCSBin the summer of 2019. He was immediately loaned back to Clinceni forone season.[3]
FCSB
editȘut made his debut for FCSB on 24 September 2020, starting in a 0–2 loss toSlovan Liberecin theUEFA Europa Leaguethird qualifying round.[4]He amassed 27 appearances duringhis first campaigninBucharest,of which 24 in the national league.
His first goal for theRoș-albaștriicame on 28 November 2021, in a 3–2 away defeat of title contendersUniversitatea Craiova.[5]On 22 May 2022, Șut scored twice in a 3–1 win overCFR Cluj,which had mathematically clinched the Liga I trophy the previous fixture.
International career
editOn 7 June 2024, Șut was selected inRomania's squad for theUEFA Euro 2024,[6]but did not feature in any match.
