Alexei Georgiyevich Vasilevsky(Russian:Алексей Георгиевич Василевский;[1]born March 5, 1980, inMoscow)[2]is a Russian former competitivefigure skater.He won two silver medals on theISU Junior Grand Prix(JGP) series and bronze at the1998–99 JGP Finalin Detroit. He also won six senior international medals, including gold at the2003 Winter UniversiadeinTarvisio,Italy. His highest placement at anISU Championshipwas 9th at the1997 World Junior ChampionshipsinSeouland his highest placement at theRussian Championshipswas 4th, which he achieved in 1999. He was coached byElena Tchaikovskaiain Moscow.[2]
