Angry Arts Weekwas an event organised by a group of radical artists based inLower East Side,New York Cityin January 1967. It brought together such people as Michael Brown of thePageant Players,Peter Schumannfrom theBread and Puppet TheatreOsha Neumann, performance artistCarolee Schneemann,and the painter Ben Morea. They were particularly active opposing theVietnam War.[1]
