Audrey Frances Peppe(laterBenner,October 12, 1917 – April 1, 1992) was an Americanfigure skater.She was the 1936U.S. bronze medalistand 1938–1939 silver medalist. She lost the 1938 national title toJoan Tozzerby1⁄10of a point.[2]Peppe competed at the1936 Winter Olympics,where she placed twelfth in thesingles event.[3][4]She turned professional in December 1939.[5]

Peppe was the niece ofBeatrix Loughran,who also coached her.[6]In May 1940 she married David Benner[7][8]but the marriage did not last. In 1944 she married Robert Rapee, son of symphony conductorErnö Rapée.They had one child.
