Ginetta Junior

edit

Voisin made his car racing debut, competing for Douglas Motorsport in theGinetta Junior Championship.[3]His season proved to be a challenge, as the Swiss driver ended up 13th overall, having scored a best race finish of seventh atThruxton.

The following season, Voisin returned to theGinetta Juniorseries, this time driving for R Racing.[4]The start of the campaign brought immediate success, with Voisin winning the season opener inDoningtonand taking a pair of victories, as well as a podium, during round two atBrands Hatch.[5][6]More wins atKnockhillandThruxtonelevated Voisin into the title battle, before he claimed another double, this time atSilverstone.[7][8]Despite a triple of podiums at the penultimate round, Voisin would miss out on the title atBrands Hatch, ending up third, a mere twelve points behind championship winnerTom Lebbon.[9]

GT4 European Series

edit

In 2021, it was announced that Voisin would be making a switch to theGT4 European Series, pairing up with Charlie Fagg atUnited Autosports.[10]At the season opener inMonza,Voisin and Fagg took a pair of victories, surging into the lead of the championship.[11]A podium atPaul Ricardfollowed before a pair of points finishes came inZandvoort, which put the team behind the Nr.8 CMR entry in the standings.[12]This would not deter the British pairing, who bounced back with pole position and a race win inBelgium,as well as two podiums at theNürburgring.[13][14][15][16]Voisin, along with Fagg, clinched the title at the final round inBarcelona, having finished Race 1 in fifth place, thus creating an unreachable lead in the overall championship.[17][18][19]

European Le Mans Series

edit

The Briton progressed to theEuropean Le Mans Seriesin 2022, returning toUnited Autosports, with whom he would compete in theLMP3category alongsideJosh CaygillandFinn Gehrsitz.[20][21]Their season started in strong fashion, as the team finished third atLe Castellet, which turned into second once a car ahead had been disqualified.[22][23]However, the outfit were unable to match that result for the following four rounds, with two retirements sandwiching a pair of points finishes. The season ended positively, with Voisin, Gehrsitz and Caygill taking another second place in theAlgarve, which elevated them to eighth in the championship.[24][25]
