Career
editIn his early career, he worked as associate director on filmsBhadraandArya.
His directorial debut,BommarillustarringSiddarthandGenelia D'Souza,earned him twoNandi AwardsforBest Debut DirecotandBest Original Screenplay.His next venture,ParugustarringAllu Arjun,was also a box office hit. However,Orange,which starredRam Charan,garnered mixed reviews but later became a cult classic. His fourth film wasOngole Gittha,which was a box office failure. He made hisTamildebut in 2016 withBangalore Naatkal,starringArya,Bobby Simha,Sri Divya,Rana Daggubati,Parvathy,andSamantha Ruth Prabhu.The film was a remake of the Malayalam filmBangalore Days(2014), and it too was a box office failure. In 2021, he directedMost Eligible BachelorwithAkhil AkkineniandPooja Hegde,which received positive reviews and became a success.
