Born inGuernsey,Channel Islands,Whare spent his entire professional career withNottingham Forest,making 298 appearances inthe Football Leaguebetween 1946 and 1960.[2]Whare represented Forest in the1959 FA Cup Final,[3]as well as the1959 FA Charity Shield,before leaving the club to play non-league football withBoston United.
