Château-du-Loir(French pronunciation:[ʃɑtodylwaʁ];literally 'Châteauof theLoir') is a formercommunein theSarthedepartmentin theregionofPays de la Loirein north-westernFrance.On 1 October 2016, it was merged into the new communeMontval-sur-Loir.[2]Château-du-Loir stationhas rail connections to Tours and Le Mans.
