Samuel Davidson "Dave" Herron(October 16, 1897 – January 27, 1956)[1]was an American amateurgolfer.

Herron won the 1919U.S. AmateuratOakmont Country Club,his home club, defeatingBobby Jonesin the final, 5 and 4.[2][3]
