Career
editLeJohn was signed by theBrooklyn Dodgersin 1954 and played in the minor leagues through 1971 with various Dodgers affiliates. He was a minor league All-Star in 1954, 1955 and 1964. LeJohn made one stop in the majors, with theLos Angeles Dodgersin 1965 and had oneat-batas apinch-hitterin theWorld Seriesthat year. He struck out swinging in the ninth inning of game 1.
LeJohn started managing as a player/manager with theTri-City Atomsin theNorthwest Leaguein 1967 and continued to manage in the Dodgers' farm system for twenty years after he finished playing.
