He is perhaps best known for his appearances in the filmsRitastarring alongsideJulie T. Wallaceand the 2006 filmThe Rulers and Dealersby Stephen Lloyd Jackson with Philippe Deguara, Terence Anderson andFreema Agyemanin which he played Fletcher. He also played the character ofMuminSteven Berkoff's production ofEastwhich ran at theVaudeville Theatrein London'sWest End theatredistrict during 1999.
Edward Bryant has also performed extensively in Christmaspantomimessuch asAladdinat theConnaught Theatre,WorthingwithJanet Dibleyin 1992 and he also performed at the Algiva Theatre inCheshamwithSam KellyinCinderellain 2004.
