Erik Mona(born April 1974)[1]is an American game designer who lives inSeattle, Washington.[2]

Mona was the Managing Editor of issues 1 and 2 of theOerth Journal,an online publication devoted to theWorld of Greyhawkcampaign setting,and the Editor-in-Chief from issues 2–7.[3]Mona had the opportunity to talk to designers likeRobert Kuntzon the GreyTalk mailing list in 1990s, where Kuntz shared stories of the early days of theGreyhawkcampaigns.[4]: 242 

Mona became the head publisher ofPaizoin April 2006.[5]Mona served as theeditor-in-chiefof theDungeons & Dragonsrole-playing gamemagazinesDragonbeginning in 2004 andDungeonfrom 2004 to 2006;[6]at the time, both magazines were published by Paizo until the license through Wizards of the Coast expired in September 2007.[citation needed]Mona and other editors at Paizo were fans of Greyhawk, and thus featured the setting inDragonandDungeonmagazines while Paizo was publishing the magazines.[4]: 25 

He has edited, authored, and co-authored several products forD&D,including theLiving Greyhawk Gazetteer,[7]Faiths and Pantheons,[8]Fiendish Codex I: Hordes of the Abyss,[9]Expedition to the Ruins of Greyhawk(a "solid hit" )[10]),Pathfinder Chronicles Campaign Setting,andArmies of the Abyss.[11][12][13]He maintained a blog called Lemuria Press,[14]and made his last post on Lemuria Press on December 25, 2012.[15]
