Early life
editBerger was born on December 10, 1950, inSt. Louis,Missourito an observant Russian-Jewish family.[2]He graduated fromUniversity City High Schoolin 1968.[3]
Career
editBerger began his career in 1978. He provided the voice of Adult Chirin inRinging Bell.In 1982, he voicedOdie,one of the pets ofJon Arbuckle,inHere Comes Garfield.[4]Berger would continue voicing Odie in variousGarfieldmedia such asGarfield and Friends(in which he also voiced Orson Pig in theU.S. Acressegments),The Garfield Show,and many more. He providedadditional voicesinSuper Friends: The Legendary Super Powers Show,while he voicedGrimlockinThe Transformersand its feature film,The Transformers: The Movie.[5]
Berger also voiced Cornfed in the animatedsitcomseries titledDuckman.In theSpyrovideo game series, he provided the voices of Ripto and Hunter the Cheetah from 1999 until 2002. He voicedMysterioandKraven the HunterinSpider-Man: The Animated Series(or just calledSpider-Man).[6]Berger also provided additional voices forInside OutandIllumination Entertainment'sDespicable Me 3.He was also the voice of Jecht in theDissidia Final Fantasygames andFinal Fantasy X.
