Herman William March(1878 – 1953) was amathematicianandphysicist.

March studied physics and mathematics at theUniversity of MunichunderWilhelm RöntgenandArnold Sommerfeld.He received his doctorate in 1911.[1][2]He had a position at theUniversity of Wisconsin–Madisonno later than circa 1920.[3][4]He died in 1953.[5]
