Hironori Takeuchi(born December 22, 1964, inKanagawa) is a Japaneseauto racingdriver.
Career
editTakeuchi competed in theJapanese Touring Car Championshipbetween 1996 and 1998.[1][2]He competed in theAll-Japan GT Championshipbetween 1995 and 2004, winning it in 2001.[2]He continued to compete in the series after it becameSuper GTin 2005, competing in the GT300 class until 2007.
In 2005 Takeuchi joinedAo Chi Hongat hisAo's Racing Teamfor the finale of theWorld Touring Car Championship,theRace of Macau,in aToyota Altezza.He failed to qualify for the races after setting a fastest lap over the required time, almost twelve seconds off the pace.
