J.B. Kaufmanis a film historian and author who specializes in Disney animation history and silent films. His books includeThe Fairest One of All,Pinocchio: The Making of the Disney Epic,andWalt Disney's Mickey Mouse.[1]He is the consulting historian forThe Walt Disney Family Museum,[2]and has also written for theLibrary of Congress[3][4]andCartoon Research.[5]Kaufman is currently working with Margaret Barnes on a biography of the latter's grandfatherClarence Nash,the original voice ofDonald Duck.[6]
