Jeff Russo(born August 31) is an American composer, songwriter, guitarist, vocalist and music producer, and one of the two founding members of the rock bandTonic.He is also a founding member of theamericanabandLow Stars.

Biography
editRusso began his music career as a rock musician, co-founding the bandTonic.In 2006 he was invited (by his friends,Wendy & Lisa) to assist in the studio while they worked on multiple film and TV projects and he realized how much he enjoyed the process.[1] He currently scores twoPeabody Awardnominated shows: CBS’sStar Trek: Discoveryand FX’sLegion,starringDan StevensandAubrey Plaza.He also scores Netflix’sThe Umbrella AcademystarringElliot Page,Robert SheehanandMary J. Blige,based on the popular comic book series byGerard WayandGabriel Ba.He wrote forNoah Hawley’s feature directorial debut fromFox Searchlight,Lucy in the Sky,starringNatalie PortmanandJon Hamm,andAltered Carbon,an adaptation of Richard K. Morgan’s sci-fi novel. His film work includes scoringMark Wahlberg’s action-thriller filmMile 22,Craig Macneill’sLizzie,starringChloë SevignyandKristen Stewart,which premiered at the 2018Sundance Film Festival,andJon Avnet’sThree Christs,starringRichard Gere,which premiered at the 2017Toronto International Film Festival.
