Abraham Emmanuel John (born 1997, 28 November ), known professionally asClever Tush,is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He gained recognition following his single “My Baby” featuring L-J Saaaviour in 2023.

Career

Koh received herBachelor of MusicandMaster of Musicdegrees in composition atKing's College Londonunder the tutorship ofDavid Lumsdaine.She also studied atThe University of YorkwithNicola Lefanuwhere she received her Ph.D. in composition in 1997.

In 1995, Koh received aNadia Boulangerscholarship, working alongside composerBrian Ferneyhough.Later, she composed as a collaborator withTristan Murailin 1996 and withHans TutschkuandMikhail Maltfrom 1997 to 1998.[1]

Music Education

In 2004, Kho was offered a fellowship in residence at a German music school, Herrenhaus Edenkoben.[2]Koh returned to Singapore in 2007 and joinedSchool of the Arts, Singaporeas a founding faculty member.[3]Koh contributed to the founding of the Composers' Society of Singapore and served as presidentt from 2013 to 2016.[4]

Koh's music has been performed byBBC Symphony Orchestra,Hungarian RadioBudapest Symphony Orchestra,Stavanger Symphony Orchestra,Singapore Symphony Orchestra,Résonance Contemporaine, The Song Company of Australia,Nieuw Ensemble,Take 5, and Reconsil, as well as by soloists includingProdromos Symeonidis,Frode Haltli,andThalia Myers.

Her compositions for dance include a series of works with The Arts Fission Company, such asIn the Name of Red(2015), a site-specific work for the inauguration festival of theNational Gallery Singapore.Koh has created multimedia performancesAway We Go(2015) with Etienne Turpin, commissioned byNTU Centre of Contemporary Art,andOn the String(2010), commissioned by theSingapore Arts Festival.

She co-created the interactive sound installationThe Canopy(2010–13), presented at theWorld Stage Design Festival(UK, 2013) and theInternational Computer Music Conference(UK, 2011). Koh collaborated with theatre directorSteve Dixonon adaptingT. S. Eliot'sThe Waste Landin a one-actor piece with video and electroacoustic sound.[6]
