Originally established in 1983 asFCL Rapide Wezemaal,it was absorbed by Sint-Truidense in 2008, moving fromWezemaal, RotselaartoSint-Truiden.[1]The team enjoyed its most successful period so far between 2004 and 2008, winning four championships in a row (including twodoubles) and reaching the2008 European Cupquarterfinals. In 2010 it won its first championship as Sint-Truidense.[2]
The team won theBelgian championshipin 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007, thereby qualifying for theUEFA Women's Cup.After only reaching the first qualifying round in the Women'S Cups 2004-05 and 2005–06, the team reached the second qualifying round in the next season and in 2007-08 went all the way to the quarter finals.
