Kristina Ruslanovna Pimenova(Russian:Кристина Руслановна Пименова;born 27 December 2005)[2][3]is a Russian fashion model.[4]

Life and career
editPimenova's parents are former footballerRuslan Pimenovand former model Glikeriya Shirokova.[5]Pimenova has an elder sister, Natalia.[1]Kristina Pimenova spent the first few months of her life in France where her father played football for FC Metz.[6]Pimenova started working as a child model before her fourth birthday, after her mother sent photographs to the agency President Kids.[7]Pimenova has worked for brands includingArmani,Benetton,Burberry,andRoberto Cavalli.[7][8]
In 2014,Women Dailymagazine called her "the most beautiful girl in the world".[8]
In Moscow, Pimenova practicedrhythmic gymnastics,underOlga Kapranova.[1]In 2013, she competed in a gymnastics tournament inTatarstanorganized byAlina Kabaeva,winning a gold medal in her age group.[4]
In April 2015, she appeared on the cover ofVogue Kids.[9]
Later in 2015, Pimenova moved to California, USA with her mother. A documentary about Pimenova aired onRTL Televisionin October 2016.[10]

Criticism
editWhen Pimenova's mother managed her social media accounts, there was some criticism of the content as an example ofsexualisationof an under-age model.[8][15]Her mother disagreed, maintaining that all the photos were perfectly innocent and "you must think like a pedophile in order to see something sexual in these pictures".[16]
