Krokolithesis anoogenusofCrocodiloideggs. These eggs were laid by anextinctspecies ofCrocodylian.It contains three oospecies:K. dinophilus,[1]K. wilsoniandK. helleri.[2] 1 Fossils of the oogenus have been found in theOligoceneof France, theOldmanandDinosaur Park Formationsof Alberta, Canada, theCampanianTwo Medicine Formationof Montana, theBarremianCabezo Gordo Member of theBlesa Formationof Spain, and theKimmeridgianof theLourinhã Formationof Portugal.
