Silverman was born to Beth Ann O'Hara[5][6]and Donald Silverman. Her parents divorced and each remarried (to John O'Hara and Janice, respectively).[7]She has three sisters: screenwriterJodyne Silverman,comedianSarah Silverman,and RabbiSusan Silverman.[7][8]Her brother Jeffrey Michael died when he was 3 months old.[9]Their family isJewish.

editIn 2022, Silverman replaced her sister Sarah as the voice of Vanellope von Schweetz from the 2012 Disney film Wreck-It Ralph inDisney Dreamlight Valley,two years later, she reprised her role as Vanellope inDisney Speedstorm.
