Lisbon District(Portuguese:Distrito de Lisboa) is adistrictlocated along the western coast ofPortugal.The district capital is the city ofLisbon,which is also the national capital. From its creationin 1835[citation needed]until 1926, it included the area of the currentSetúbal District.[1]
