Luis Bayón Herrera(23 September 1889 – 30 March 1956) was a Spanishfilm directorandscreenwriterwho worked inArgentinefilm of the 1940s and 1950s. He was "one of the most important directors of the golden age of Argentine cinema".[1]

Herrera was born inBilbao,Spain.He directed some 40 different Argentine feature films and in the last few years of his career in the early 1950s he worked onCubanproduction with films such asA La Habana me voyin 1951.[2]
He died inBuenos Airesin 1956, aged 66.
