Lynn Kriengkrairut(Thai:ลินน์ เกรียงไกรรัตน์;RTGS:Lin Kriangkrairat;born October 4, 1988) is an American former competitiveice dancer.With partnerLogan Giulietti-Schmitt,she is a two-time (2011–2012)Ice Challenge championand the 2012U.S. national pewter medalist.

Career
editKriengkrairut began skating at the age of six and a half.[1]She competed insingle skatingand solo dance before teaming up with Jon Lauten, with whom she skated for one year.[1]
Logan Giulietti-Schmittcontacted Kriengkrairut after seeing her on IcePartnerSearch.[2]They began skating together in July 2006,[1]agreeing to form a partnership on the second day of a planned three-day tryout.[3]The two were coached byYuri ChesnichenkoandYaroslava Nechaevafrom the start of their partnership.[2]They won the junior bronze medal at the2007 U.S. Championshipsin their first season together.
Kriengkrairut/Giulietti-Schmitt received a host invitation to compete at2010 Skate Americawhere they finished 6th. At the2011 U.S. Championships,they were in fourth after the short dance but dropped to fifth overall after a fall at the end of their free dance.[2]
At the2012 U.S. Championships,Kriengkrairut/Giulietti-Schmitt placed fourth in both segments and won the pewter medal. The following season, they were fifth at the2013 U.S. Championships.They changed coaches in February 2013, joiningIgor ShpilbandinNovi, Michigan.[4]Kriengkrairut sustained a concussion in late June 2013.[5]The two decided to retire from competition on April 24, 2014.[6]
Personal life
editKriengkrairut is ofThaidescent.[3]Her mother is a pediatric neurologist and her father a pulmonologist.[2]She was raised inBismarck, North Dakotaand attendedCentury High School.In 2004, she underwent surgery after being diagnosed withpulmonary sequestration.[2]
Kriengkrairut studied at theUniversity of Michiganwith a focus on brain, behavior, and cognitive sciences.[2]As of March 2021, she has finished her MD fromUniversity of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciencesand has matched into Internal medicine residency at St Joseph's in Ann Arbor where she will start her training in July 2021.[6]
