Faber made herBroadwaydebut on December 26, 2005, replacingStephanie D'Abruzzoin the musicalAvenue Qas Kate Monster and Lucy T. Slut. Starting October 30, 2006, she took a leave of absence fromAvenue Qto appear as Clea in the Playwright's Horizon's production ofFloyd and Clea Under the Western Sky.Faber returned toAvenue Qon December 19, 2006. Faber's last appearance inAvenue Qwas on October 9, 2008.[citation needed]

Faber has appeared inoff-Broadwayshows includingSaved!at Playwright's Horizons,Slut,andThe Tutor.Faber also previously worked in theTheatreworksmusicalJunie B. Jones.She helped to develop the character of Natalie inFeeling Electric(which would eventually be redeveloped into thePulitzer Prize-winningNext to Normal).[1]

Faber originated the role of Heather in the musicalAmerican Idiotwhile the show was being developed atBerkeley Repertory Theatre.[2]She continued the role of Heather[3]from the opening of itsBroadwayrun until December 12, 2010.[4]

She starred as Smitty in the 2011 revivalHow to Succeed in Business Without Really TryingalongsideDaniel RadcliffeandJohn Larroquette,from the opening of the run until February 26, 2012.[citation needed]

Faber had a recurring role onParks and Recreationas Pawnee restaurant lobbyist Kathryn Pinewood and has also made guest appearances onNurse JackieandThe Good Wife.
