Mouin Rabbani(Arabic:معين رباني) is aDutch-PalestinianMiddle Eastanalyst specializing in theArab-Israeli conflictandPalestinianaffairs.[1][2]Rabbani is based inAmman,Jordan[1]and was a Senior Analyst for theInternational Crisis Group,the Palestine Director of thePalestine American Research Center,a Project Director for theAssociation of Netherlands Municipalities,and a volunteer and General Editor forAl Haq.[2]Rabbani is currently a senior fellow at theInstitute for Palestine Studies,[2][3]a co-editor ofJadaliyya,[4]and a Contributing Editor to theMiddle East Report.[2]

editRabbani was born inHeerenveen,Netherlands. He received his B.A. in History and International Relations fromTufts Universityin 1986. Additionally, Mouin Rabbani received his M.A. in Contemporary Arab Studies fromGeorgetown University.[5][6][7]For a short period of time, Rabbani worked for theUnited NationsOffice of the Special Envoy forSyriabefore resigning in 2014.[8]
