Omer Enrique (Molleda) Muñoz(born June 3rd, 1966 inMaracaibo,Venezuela) served as the interim first base coach for theChicago White Soxin 2010 whileHarold Bainesrecovered from rightknee replacement surgery.[1]He has also played, coached and managed in the minor leagues.
Playing career
editMuñoz played from 1985 to 1996 consecutively, save for the 1986 season. In 741 minor league games, themiddle infielderhit.264 with 12 home runs.[2]
Managing career
editMuñoz managed theAZL Marinersfrom 2000 to 2001, theEverett Aqua Soxin 2002 (replacing manager Robert Hansen partway through the season), theBakersfield Blazein 2003 andKannapolis Intimidatorsin 2006.
