Plan C Studios made waves in the Indian film industry by launching its first production,Akshay KumarstarrerRustom (film)which released on 12 August 2016.[2]Subsequent productions includeNaam Shabana(a prequel to Pandey's 2015 filmBaby) which was released on 31 March 2017.[3]
Toilet: Ek Prem Katha,starring Akshay Kumar andBhumi Pednekarwas released worldwide on 11 August 2017. It is a love story with a satirical flavor directed by Shree Narayan Singh and produced by Aruna Bhatia, Plan C Studios and Abundantia. It is presented byViacom 18and KriArj Entertainment.[4]
