The pilot was written byDamon Wayans&Kevin Hench,and it was directed byAndy Ackerman.Production companies involved withPoppa's Houseinclude Amara Films, Hench in the Trench Productions,Two Shakes Entertainment,andCBS Studios.[9]Poppa's Housewas given a series order on May 9, 2023.[10]Poppa's Housewas moved to the 2024–25 season due tostrike-related production delays.[11]CBS received a full season order of 18 episodes on November 7, 2024.[12]
