Club career

De Gregorio began his senior club career withWellington Unitedin 1997 before spending time in Europe withBohemians,FC DordrechtandClyde.He returned to New Zealand in 2003 where he was a regular with theFootball Kingz.A short spell with Finnish sideFC Jokeritfollowed, before once again returning to New Zealand withTeam Wellington.In 2005 de Gregorio again returned to Europe for a short spell withHJK Helsinki,but later rejoinedTeam Wellington.[1]

International career

He has also played for theNew Zealand national football team,theAll Whites,collecting 23 caps (scoring 2 goals) since making his debut in 2000 againstChina.[2][3] De Gregorio was included in the New Zealand2003 Confederations Cupsquad.[4]He scored New Zealand's only goal of the tournament in a 1–3 loss againstColombia.[5]
