Ray Enright(March 25, 1896 – April 3, 1965) was an Americanfilm director.He directed 73 films between 1927–53, many of them forWarner Bros.[1]He oversaw comedy films likeJoe E. Brownvehicles, five of the six informal pairings ofJoan BlondellandGlenda Farrell,and later directed a number ofWesterns,many featuringRandolph Scott.Enright was born inAnderson, Indiana.He served in theU.S. ArmySignal Corpsin France during theFirst World War.Enright died inHollywood, California,from aheart attack.
