Ray Lampkin(born 1948[1]inPortland, Oregon) is a retiredprofessional boxerwho lost a 1975World Boxing Association(WBA)lightweighttitle fight againstRoberto DuráninPanama.[2]Lampkin lasted fourteen rounds against the hard-hitting Duran. He won theNorth American Boxing Federationlightweight title fight but later lost it againstEsteban de Jesúsat theFelt ForuminNew York City.[3]He finished his career with a total of 34 wins (16 byknock out), six losses (two by knock out) and one draw.[4]Lampkin was inducted into theOregon Sports Hall of Fame.[5]
