Frederick Allen Nutter(May 1, 1929 – October 15, 2005), known professionally asRik Van Nutterand occasionally asClyde Rogers,was an American actor who mostly appeared in Italian-produced films. He is also remembered for playingFelix Leiterin the James Bond pictureThunderball.

editVan Nutter is best known for playing the third version ofFelix Leiterin theJames BondfilmThunderball(1965). He also had a role alongsidePeter UstinovinRomanoff and Juliet(1961), and his later films includedFoxbat(1977) withHenry SilvaandVonetta McGeeand theJim BrownWorld War II adventurePacific Inferno(1979).
Van Nutter was married to film actressAnita Ekbergfrom 1963 until 1975. They lived in Spain and Switzerland and started a shipping business together.[1]
Van Nutter died on October 15, 2005, at the age of 76.
