Ronald Duane Nery(December 30, 1934 – April 2, 2002) was anAmerican footballdefensive endwho played in theAmerican Football League(AFL). He played four seasons for theLos Angeles/San Diego Chargers(1960–1962), theDenver Broncos(1963),[1]and theHouston Oilers(1963).[2]

He played for theKansas State Wildcatsfrom 1953 through 1955.[2]During his junior and senior years, he was selected to the All-Big 7 first team.[2]In 1956, he was a seventh-round draft pick for theNew York Giants.[2]
He became a resident ofGrapevine, Texas.[2]In 2002, he died of an enlarged heart while visiting friends in Topeka, Kansas.[2]
