Henry"Rusty"Fein(born June 24, 1982 in Washington, D.C.) is an American former competitivefigure skater,who competed in bothsinglesandpairs.He skated in pairs withTiffany Scott,with whom he is the 2006U.S. national pewter medalistand alternate for the 2006 U.S.WorldandOlympicTeams.

Personal life
editFein was born inWashington, DC.He graduated from theUniversity of Pennsylvaniain 2006 with a degree in economics, after which he joinedJ.P. Morgan & Co.inNew York Cityas an investment analyst.[1]Fein is a trustee of the U.S. Figure Skating Foundation. In 2014, he graduated fromStanford Graduate School of Businesswith anMBA.As an adult, he legally adopted his mother's maiden name (Lippincott) as his surname.[2]
Skating career
editFein competed internationally as asinglesskater before competing inpairs.He placed 13th at the 2001Finlandia Trophyand won gold at the 1999 North American Challenge Skate. He won two silver medals at theUS National Collegiate Figure Skating Championshipson the senior level and won theUS National Collegiate Figure Skating Championshipsin Junior in 2000.
As a pair skater, Fein teamed up withTiffany Scottin 2005.[3]They placed 5th at the 2005Nebelhorn Trophyand won the pewter medal at the2006 U.S. Figure Skating Championships.They were subsequently named alternates for the2006 Winter OlympicsinTurin,Italy.They competed together until 2006.[1]
In 2008, sports media reported that Fein would return to competitive skating, pairing with 2005 U.S. National ChampionKatie Orscher,but the partnership never materialized.
