Safety service(also:safety radiocommunication serviceorsafety-of-life service) is – according toArticle 1.59of theInternational Telecommunication Union's(ITU)Radio Regulations(RR)[1]– defined as «A radiocommunication service used permanently or temporarily for the safeguarding of human life and property.»
