Sergey Mikhaylovich Shakhray(Russian:Серге́й Михайлович Шахрай;born 30 April 1956) is a Russian politician. He is a co-author of theConstitution of the Russian Federation.[1]

Shakhray graduated from theRostov-on-Don State Universityin 1978 with a degree inlaw.

In December 1991 – March 1992, November 1992 – January 1994, April 1994 – January 1996:Deputy Prime Minister of Russia.

He has the federal state civilian service rank of1st class Active State Councillor of the Russian Federation.[2]
