Strettonis a small village andcivil parishinDerbyshire,England. The population of the civil parish as at the 2011 Census was 525.[1]It is near the towns ofClay Crossand 3.5 miles (5.6 km) fromAlfretonon theA61.The nearest waterways are theRiver AmberandSmithy Brook.Since 1964, Stretton has been besideOgston Reservoirwhich still has the remains of a pub (Napoleon's Home) anda light railwaywithin its depths.[2]
