Takeo Watanabe

Takeo Watanabe(Độ biên nhạc phu,Watanabe Takeo,April 16, 1933 – June 2, 1989)[1][2]was a Japanese musician and composer. In addition to composing the well known theme song forCutie Honey[3]he has also composed music for multiple anime television series and films includingLone Wolf and Cub,Candy Candy,andMobile Suit Gundam.[4][better source needed]

Tomei Tengu BGMwritten and performed by Takeo Watanabe was used in the soundtrack of the 2003 movieLost in Translationfourteen years after his death.[5][better source needed]In 2008 Takeo Watanabe posthumously received an Award of Merit from the Tokyo International Anime Fair.[6]He died at the age of 56.

Eldest son of Urato Watanabe(Độ biên phổ nhân,Watanabe Urato).Graduated from Musashi(?) University he studied music in Paris, France.
